Embroidery Kit
18th Century "Portsmouth” Pockets

Contents:

  • Enough linen fabric for two pockets  (with two lengthes bearing the hand drawn designs - imitating the walnut ink which was used in the 18th C. to trace motifs on fabric)
  • linen tape for binding and tying the pockets
  • crewel embroidery thread in all colors needed
  • embroidery needle
  • detailed instructions (also covering embroidery stitches)
