This elegant jacket pattern of the Directoire period is based on a period original in the possession of Kyoto Costume Institute, Japan. A style typical of the last decade of the 18th Century, the jacket features buttoned cuffs, narrow 2-piece sleeves, wide scalloped collar  and a double-breasted front closure. The pattern comes with full instructions, also for a matching petticoat to complete your new favorite walking costume!
