Silk Knit ivory Wonderfully soft knitted fabric from 100% silk! The fabric has a very fine, but firm structure (pictured larger than actual size!)  just perfect for period stocking projects! The invention of the knitting machine in 18th C. England enabled people to produce machine knit stockings. Try our silk knit fabric to reproduce stockings similar to 18th and 19th C. examples! Simply use pattern KK6001 "Stockings, Pockets and Mittens" available from our Rococo department to make the most perfect and individual hosiery!
