Nehelenia Patterns has been established in autumn 2000 by Christina and Stefanie Dettmers. Both are avid reenactors and members of several Living History Societies. WeWir sind beide begeisterte Reenactors und Mitglieder diverser Living History Gruppen. Our own association is “La Belle Assemblée”. We're concentrating on civilian late 18th and Regency depictions.

In 2000 it was almost impossible to buy authentic historical sewing patterns and notions in Germany. We felt there was a need for these things and founded Nehelenia Patterns. Since then we've become Germanys largest supplier of authentic patterns and notions. Currently we're expanding our buisness to Europe!

Christina Dettmers, Dipl. Fashion Designer (on the right) Responsible for Webdesign, Costumer Service and Development of new Patterns. She runs her own buisness Nehelenia Designs (Reproduction clothing, historical Bridal Wear, etc.) Stefanie Dettmers-Piasetzki, M.A. in Archaeology, currently doing her doctorate (on the left) Responsible for the english language Website, Purchasing, Pattern Development and customer service.

Dorothea and Hans-Joachim Dettmers are managing the inventories of our family buisness. They're also responsible for our german customer service.
